A detailed survey is always carried out which will identify if it’s possible to lay your resin driveway as an overlay on existing surfaces. We will always try to keep your cost down by laying your new resin driveway over the top of an existing tarmac or concrete driveway, in most cases an overlay will be fine and we will repair and prepare the existing tarmac and concrete driveway before laying the resin overlay. Its about keeping costs down and quality up.
In cases were it’s not possible to overlay the resin drive over an existing drive. In cases where the surface is poor or badly damaged or where it's an old block paving or jointed concrete slab drive. We will advise on excavating and removing the existing drive and laying a new tarmac or concrete sub-base prior to the installation of you new resin driveway.
Our Resin Driveways and Pathways are created and mixed on site prior to laying using a aggregate and resin ‘forced action’ mixer. The stone aggregate is aggressively mixed with a 2-part clear polyurethane resin so that all stones are perfectly coated for strength and durability. Our resin bound driveways and pathways are laid onto prepared concrete or tarmac for an fabulous look that will be the envy of all your friends and neighbours.
