Fabulous cappuccino resin driveway which was fully dug out and Mot type3 permeable stone sub-base laid down to 250mm. Followed by 70mm open coarse permeable tarmac. Finally 20mm of cappuccino resin aggregate laid down so that the driveway is BBA compliant.
The Old Holmfirth Priory's tarmac was dug out and the levels altered as the previous contractor laid the tarmac with a fall to the property resulting in water flowing into the cellar of the property. In this case ACO drains laid against the property would not have been in keeping with the several hundred year old building. Another happy customer.
We were called in to deal with a drive that was facing serious subsidence due to lack of a suitable sub-base as can be seen from the first image. We deal with walling, drainage, and landscaping so this was an easy job. the customers was delighted as she had tried to find a contractor that would be able to fix things without success. A lottery funded project that involved excavating unstable land. Reinforcing the ground with suitable foundations and than constructing a SMA tarmac car park in front of the old and converted baptise church which is now used as a learning centre for children with learning difficulties.
